The Edison Celebration Of Art is a highly respected annual outdoor art festival in Fort Myers FL. All net proceeds from these events are to help foster music and art programs in Lee County Schools.

CALL TO ARTISTS!

The 6th annual Edison Celebration of Art is announcing a "call for artists".  The outdoor art festival showcases the work of local and national artists as well as emerging artists and LeeCounty art students. This year's event will be held in downtown Fort Myers on Saturday, January 31, 2009.  

All artwork must be original and created by the displaying artist.  Entries will be accepted in a variety of media.  Cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Second place, Third place and People's Choice.  The application deadline is Monday, December 15, 2008.
